If you’re a first time visitor to The Sportsman we want you to feel welcome and totally confident as you walk through our doors. And even if you’re an experienced hand, we know you may also have questions.

Based on our years of experience and feedback from customers, we have put together a list of commonly asked questions and relevant answers. DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER TO COME TO THE CASINO?

No, you don’t need to be a member to enjoy what the casino has to offer. And entry to the casino is free.

HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO ENTER THE CASINO?

You must be 18 years of age or over to come to The Sportsman. This applies to all our facilities, including the restaurant. You will be asked to produce ID if you’re lucky enough to look 21 or under.

DO I NEED ID?

As we just mentioned, if you’re lucky enough to look 21 or under, undertaking cash transactions of £1,500 or more or signing up to our Player Rewards programme for the first time you’ll need to show a driving licence photo card or passport as ID.

WHAT’S THE DRESS CODE?

We want you to feel comfortable and ready to enjoy your visit to The Sportsman so we recommend a smart casual dress code.

DO I HAVE TO WEAR A JACKET?

No jackets are not required. And jeans and trainers are ok as long as they look neat and presentable.

DO YOU HAVE CAR PARKING FACILITIES?

Yes, we are adjacent to an APCOA car park and reduced rates are available to members.

DO YOU HAVE WHEELCHAIR ACCESS TO THE CASINO?

Yes, our casino has wheelchair access and disabled toilets.

DO YOU HAVE A DISABLED ACCESS GUIDE TO THE CASINO?

WHAT ARE YOUR OPENING HOURS?

The casino, bars, and restaurant are open seven days a week.

Dinner 6.00pm until 1am

 

Casino Bar

12 midday - 5am daily

WHAT GAMING FACILITIES DO YOU HAVE?

The main gaming floor has 17 gaming tables, which include Blackjack, Three Card Poker, Punto Banco, Pai Gow and American Roulette. There are 20 state-of-the-art electronic gaming machines and 20 for Electronic Roulette. For more information about Poker and tournaments, please visit the Poker section on the website.

IF I DON'T WANT TO GAME, WHAT ELSE CAN I DO?

We have a fantastic Top Table Award-winning restaurant offering various menus. The Casino Bar and Restaurant Bar are fully stocked with wines, beers and spirits plus an extensive cocktail menu. We have the latest audiovisual sound system and for sports fans we have our massive TV screens showing all the major sporting events.

I’VE HEARD PLAYER REWARDS MENTIONED. WHAT ARE THEY?

Player Rewards is part of Caesars loyalty programme. Once signed up, you earn Reward Points every time you play, eat or drink at one of our venues. The more you earn, the greater your Tier status and benefits. You’ll get more return on your play than with any other casino group. We’ll even give you a free drink and gaming voucher when you sign up at The Sportsman.

DOES IT COST ANYTHING TO JOIN PLAYER REWARDS?

A: No, signing up to Player Rewards is free. Registration is quick and easy.

DOES MY PLAYER REWARDS CARD ENTITLE ME TO VISIT ANY OTHER
CAESARS ENTERTAINMENT CASINOS?

A: Yes, you can use your Player Rewards card at all Caesars Entertainment casinos nationwide (except for Playboy Club London, which is a private
members’ club).

I HAVE NOT VISITED THE CASINO FOR A WHILE. IS MY PLAYER REWARDS
CARD STILL VALID?

A: Your Player Rewards card will remain valid. However you need to have visited a casino within the last six months to keep your Rewards Points balance. Otherwise your balance expires.

I’VE LOST MY PLAYER REWARDS CARD. CAN I STILL ENTER THE CASINO?

A: Yes, you can still come in to the casino. Make sure you pick up a replacement card from Reception desk on your way in.

WHAT DOES MY PLAYER REWARDS CARD ENTITLE ME TO?

A: Every time you play Slots, Electronic games and table games you earn Reward Points. These can be used for food, drinks and merchandise within the casino.
